Before I Go – Part 1
If you knew you were about to die, what would your last words be? Or knowing that you would see someone for the last time, what would you say to them?
As the Apostle Paul began to wrap up his third missionary trip, he spoke to a gathering of believers in Acts 20:1-12. He encouraged them and challenged them in their faith. Though his words are not included in this passage, his thoughts no doubt included:
- Share the Good News
- Take Care of One Another
- Remember Jesus is Enough
- Know This is Not the End
His long goodbye was interrupted by a young man falling out of window from the room Paul was preaching from to the ground dead. Paul revived him, and this divine disruption punctuated his message that there is an eternal hope found in Jesus because of the resurrection of the dead.
