Children's Ministry

At The Harbor we are dedicated and committed in accordance with God's Holy Word under the guidance of the Holy Spirit in partnership with parents and families to the rising-up of strong Christian children who will come to know & love God and desire to serve God with all their heart, soul and mind.

"...Let the little children come to Me, and do not for bid them;
for of such is the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:14

At The Harbor, in the same way adults have a "Place for Rest, Restoration, Preparation and Launching," we have incorporated these very same aspects into our Children's Ministry including Children's Church, Sunday School, service & outreach opportunities and fellowship events.

 Children’s Church (K-6th Grade) is during the main service following worship and the monthly communion service.    We purposely provide an opportunity for families to share a time of worship and partaking of communion. Children’s Church, in a loving and fun environment, offers an opportunity for children to develop a Biblically based spiritual foundation for a personal relationship with God and a lifetime of worshipping, following and serving God.

Sunday School (Pre-school – 6th Grade) is during the adult Equipping Hour. Loving teachers share Bible truths in small classes to help students further learn about God in age level appropriate classes.

Children’s Church and Sunday School incorporates scripture reading & memorization, prayer, participation in crafts and games as well as worship to engage the students and teach them about God.

Spring Classes:

Children’s Church: temporarily on hold

1st - 4th Grade SS: "Animals in the Bible", the children are currently being taught from scripture about the animals in the bible .

5th - 7th Grade SS: “Stranger On The Road To Emmaus”, a teaching of God's Word and Truths, laying one principal upon another, developing a clear and Christ-centered presentation of the Gospel.

Nursery Care and Preschool Classes are available during our church service and Sunday school.
